This weekend Hans & Harry will be at the famous Porretta Soul Festival in the beautiful town of Porretta Terme in Italy near Bologna. This year is edition number 30! Acts appearing are amongst others: Carla & Vaneese Thomas, Willie Hightower, Wee Willie Walker, Ricky Fante, and Vasti Jackson.

​On Sunday July 16 Paradiso hosts a soul legend from the James Brown stable, Martha High. She was a backing singer for James Brown for many years and was also a successful solo artist. Her latest album “Singing for the good times” was released last year on an Italian label. Martha will be performing with a band featuring several of the original JB’s!

This Friday the Soul Drippin’ crew presents a night of mayhem at Club 8 at the Admiraal de Ruyterweg 56B in the west of Amsterdam. Club 8 is spacious with a large dancefloor and competitive bar prices.Apart from the resident DJs Soulfinger and Indeemixx a great list of DJs will be there to spin soul, funk, latin, and mod/beat sounds: Taco Fett, Wolfrock, DJ Sounder, and Loma Russ. The start is at 22:00 and the night runs until at least 4AM so great value for an entry fee of 6 Euros.
