A very rare LP on a large label (Sugar Hill) which is a bit strange. The label probably had financial troubles so the record was not pressed in large quantities. First Class were a superb sweet soul group; their problem was that they did not write any material of their own which made them very much dependent on others: they were not in control of their own career. This record is almost a track by track reissue of the 1977 (and very rare) LP "They call this group First Class", sporting an ugly white cover. Musically it is great Philly Soul , with personal faves being the ballads "Let's make love", "Lucky me", and theit take on "Going out of my head".

This is one of the albums that I always go and listen to every now and then. I know that it is one particularly old album, but I love it so much. I think that people need to go and listen to this album a lot more often. Of course, there are those who do not even own a player for this kind of music. I hope that people become more happy with this type of music, especially at this time of the year.
